When your business gets a new version of a type of software -- or you just don't use the one you have and you want to get rid of it -- you'll need to follow a specific process to uninstall the program from your computer. On a Mac, you can uninstall Adobe products, including Photoshop, using the uninstall program built in to the software. This is preferable to dragging the program icon into the Trash, as this can cause conflicts with new software later on.

1.Log in to your Mac as the administrator. To switch between users, click the 'Apple' menu and then click 'Log Off' from the bottom of the Apple menu. Type your administrator password when prompted.
2.Click on the 'Applications' folder from the Dock on your Mac, or click the 'Finder' icon and then double-click on the 'Applications' icon.
3.Double-click 'Utilities' from the Applications folder.
5.Click within the box next to 'Remove Preferences,' and then click 'Uninstall.' You will be asked to enter your Mac's admin password -- enter it and then follow the prompts to continue the uninstall.
